Description
Easy to use and extremely versatile
The Wahoo Speedplay pedals can be clipped in from both sides as the clip mechanism is incorporated into the Speedplay cleat. This means that you will clip in faster than your friends! The compact design means the pedals don't add much weight to your bike, and look stylish and minimalistic.
Made from high quality materials, resistant to the elements
The Wahoo Speedplay Comp pedals are made from a sturdy and durable Chromoly steel axle, which is covered by a body made from Grivory. This is a very durable plastic which is resistant to wear and helps ensure that this pedal weighs only 232 grams. In addition, Wahoo has placed a steel plate in the middle of the pedal in order to significantly reduce wear on the pedal. The Wahoo Speedplay Comp pedals feature cartridge and needle bearings. Thanks to the triple sealing, these pedals are resistant to weather and wind.
In short, the Speedplay pedals are durable, lightweight and, because you can clip in on both sides, ensure long-lasting cycling pleasure!
Technology
Wahoo Speedplay CleatsThe Wahoo Speedplay Cleats are cleats which incorporate a clip mechanism. This allows the Speedplay pedals to be double sided and very compact. Despite the fact that a clip mechanism is incorporated, the cleats remain easy to run with and have a reduced height (stack). Therefore, you don't have to worry about your pedals when you take a sharp turn!

Great discovery
Very good experience

A sure thing
Similar to the speedplay models but less fragile due to the metal plates screwed onto the pedal bodies. The lubrication holes have disappeared: zero maintenance. The cleats are compatible, old or new generations. Angular freedom is still the brand's main asset. Excellent value for money on MAntel. On the other hand, the low resistance of the release spring limits the use of the pedal in competition and makes it "just holding" for racers because it's too weak: the black cleats are much safer. It's a shame that they've disappeared from the comp range, which has now become 'cyclo'. The cleats are expensive but last much longer than the triangular plastic ones. Despite this setback, these pedals will remain an excellent product for many years to come.

Familiar speedplay pedals, but now with a Wahoo branding
Speedplay pedals give more freedom of movement than any other pedal which I need due to a deviation in one leg. Now that Wahoo has taken over speedplay, the sealing of the bearings has changed and you no longer have to use a grease gun. The question remains how long these pedals will last.

Fair fine pedals.
I would have liked to have discovered these pedals earlier, soothing revolutions.

Absolutely the most beautiful pedals available!
These pedals look great on a special racing bike! They can also be adjusted very accurately thanks to the many adjustment options in the cleats. You have to be careful not to overtighten the small crosshead screws, but once adjusted, you don't have to worry about it anymore. The double-sided click-in also makes cycling away a lot faster.
