Total GPS at an incredible price.
I came from Garmin and I'm not going back. Much more intuitive and accessible than Garmin. The front buttons make it easy to use on the go. Infinite configurations. 100% recommendable. Mantel's service is outstanding, very happy with the purchase.

Top device
Review compared to the Garmin 1030 plus that I also use I find the Wahoo a nicer device. Everything simple to set via buttons, and menu is much simpler. Possibilities for measurements are more extensive than with the Garmin. Simple uploading of routes. The Garmin varia radar is simpler to use than with the 1030 plus. (How to). Was scared for a while that I would miss the touchscreen, but totally not touchscreen I now even find a disadvantage, especially in bad weather. All in all a top device and good purchase

nice product, screen size just about right
I previously had a Wahoo Elemt Bold and when choosing a new one my choice was either a Garmin 540 or Wahoo Roam V2. Because of the ease of setting up via the app etc. and while waiting for improved maps and especially pop up for climbs, I opted for the Roam V2. And also in price it was much more attractive than the Garmin

Top thing!
Fantastic device! Does what it is supposed to do. Training is easy to analyse on the basis of the data it collects. Once you get the hang of the product it works really great!!!

Fine device, but there may be something wrong with my Wahoo
Fantastic in use, occasionally exhibits strange quirks

Super device with many improvements to the Roam1.
Great for navigating, I no longer need to remember to delete maps because there is no more free memory, as was the case with the predecessor. Very easy to read screen, good contrasts and colours.

Small (and expensive) but fine
Very quick route adjustment if you take a wrong turn. The connection with the iPhone and all common route planning and fitness apps (Strava, Komoot, etc.) works great. Seems very stable.

Perfect
Broken wahoo (oldie) then switched to Garmin but I found the route arrow hard to see in crowded areas and missed the App. Now back again, should have done earlier....

The Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM v2 is a reliable and valuable travel companion for cyclists.
Title: A Reliable Travel Companion: Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM v2 Review: The Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM v2 is a cycling computer designed for adventurers and serious cyclists. With an array of features and an intuitive interface, this bike computer offers an excellent user experience. Here are five pluses and five minuses that reflect the overall performance of the Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM v2: Pluses: 1. Rugged and Durable: The Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM v2 is built to withstand the harshest conditions. The device is waterproof and shockproof, making it suitable for rough terrains and unpredictable weather. You can be confident that this bike computer won't let you down no matter the conditions. 2. Excellent Navigation: One of the strongest points of the ROAM v2 is its navigation function. With integrated GPS and the ability to download routes, you can easily explore new trails. The color screen maps are bright and clear, allowing you to quickly see where you need to go. Plus, you get alerts for sharp turns and approaching changes in the route, improving safety and ease of use. 3. Excellent Battery Life: With up to 17 hours of battery life, the ROAM v2 is perfect for long rides and multi-day adventures. You don't have to worry about the battery running out halfway through. Plus, you can easily charge the bike computer using a power bank during long rides. 4. Easy Installation and Use: Installing the ROAM v2 is a piece of cake. With the included mounting bracket and clear instructions, you can attach the bike computer to your handlebars within minutes. The device has an intuitive interface with easy-to-navigate menus, giving you quick access to all functions. 5. Extensive Connectivity: The ROAM v2 is compatible with a wide range of sensors and devices, including heart rate monitors, speed and cadence sensors, and even smart trainers. This allows you to accurately track and analyze your training and performance. Plus, you can wirelessly sync data to popular platforms such as Strava and TrainingPeaks after your ride. Cons: 1. Limited Touchscreen Functionality: While the ROAM v2's color touchscreen is generally responsive, it can be difficult to operate with gloves on in some cases. This can be problematic during cold weather conditions or for cyclists who like to wear gloves for extra grip. 2. Limited Map Functionality: While navigation on the ROAM v2 is generally excellent, the map functionality can be limited compared to other navigation systems. Some users find that the maps are not detailed enough, especially in remote areas with few roads. 3. No Integrated Lighting: Unlike some other bike computers on the market, the ROAM v2 does not have built-in lighting. If you plan to bike at night, you should consider a separate lighting solution. 4. Limited Smartphone Integration: Although the ROAM v2 can be paired with your smartphone to receive notifications, the integration is limited to basic functions. Some users would like to see more extensive smartphone functions, such as answering messages or controlling music. 5. Price: The Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM v2 is priced in the higher end of cycling computers. While the functionality and performance are definitely worth the price for serious cyclists, it may be a stumbling block for those with a more limited budget. Despite some minor drawbacks, the Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM v2 offers an excellent user experience with its rugged construction, excellent navigation, long battery life, easy setup and extensive connectivity. It is a reliable travel companion that will help you explore new routes and improve your cycling performance. Through all kinds of weather. If you are willing to invest in a high-quality cycling computer, the ROAM v2 is definitely worth considering.

Top of the range with unbeatable value for money.
Coming from Garmin, I was very apprehensive about switching to something else, including Wahoo. The few hundred km I've covered prove that it was the right choice, with very good value for money!

Overall a really excellent and very easy to use bike computer.
Purchased Roam v2 to replace my ageing Wahoo Bolt v2. Very happy with the change. I can fit more data on the bigger screen and find it very easy to read. I enjoyed the Bolt very much for day to day use however when it came to navigation I found the screen was too small for my eyes! I regularly use the roam navigation feature and really enjoy it. It's great to easily see distance left in a ride, for example. Also the route to start is a great feature if you are in an unfamiliar place and want to shorten the current route. The summit feature is also very good as it shows the distance and gradients of the hill your are climbing and also approximates the time left to the top. I find this feature very useful the only drawback is it only works if you have loaded a route.

Simple and precise
I liked the grip. The absence of a touch screen is a plus for me. I haven't yet used the navigation in unfamiliar areas.

A pretty good device, but one that can definitely be improved.
The Wahoo impresses above all with an excellently readable screen and the excellent display of the routes in the navigation. These are the main advantages over Garmin. The battery performance is well sufficient. However, the setting via the cell phone, which is actually intended as a convenience, is a problem when the synchronization does not work. Unfortunately, this happens from time to time. What it is due to, I do not know yet. Also, the pause window should not immediately cover half the screen when you stop with the bike. Just when I stand I want to be able to read the data on the Wahoo. Also, I do not like that when interrupted rides the recording is automatically closed after a few hours. If I drive to the office in the morning and home in the evening, Wahoo forces me so always two separate records on. Overall, however, it is a very good device, with which you can especially a given route excellent track.
