Shimano S-PHYRE XC903

Buying cycling shoes always goes with a scared heart for me. After all, you can only partly find out the perfect fit in the shop. It is on the bike that you feel whether your shoes are made for your feet or not. From the first step in to the feel during efforts of a hard workout, these shoes are perfect for me. After years of cycling with another brand, I am converted. Lovely shoes and highly recommended.

Very good shoe

I chose the Wide model in 42, whereas the normal 43 would have suited me, but it was a bit big. The Wide model adds very little width to the foot, as my foot is normal in width. A very good choice.

A great shoe to ride my races and train with, immediately placed for World Cup gravel during my first race on these shoes. I also ordered another pair straight away because I ride my bike almost every day

These are the best mtb/cyclocross shoes I have worn. I wear them in cyclocross and feel that they make me click in faster at the start and when jumping up.

At first I was hesitant because of the knee-high soles, however, this shoe has surprised me at every level. You feel your power flowing back into your speed without any pressure spots anywhere. For longer rides I held my heart, with my previous shoes a numb feeling was assured after one and a half to two hours. With these shoes, I no longer suffer from anything. White mountain bike shoes, wise? No. Beautiful, yes. Besides, they are remarkably easy to clean, even a big mud stain is easy to get off. They won't stay new, but this doesn't disappoint me. Unfortunately, I did set the bar quite high and I'm afraid I won't escape XC9s next time, the biggest drawback being, of course, the price. But that well outweighs the quality!
