Shimano RC302

Thanks to the sales assistant at Mantel, I bought the right shoes after a few previous mishaps. Shimano shoes are renowned for the way they mould to your feet.

As my first pair of clip-in cycling shoes, I’m pleased with the purchase and the assistance from the sales assistant, who explained the different models of shoes for beginners. In the end, I chose the Shimano shoes because they fit best. I’ve now worn them on three rides and I’m still happy with them. I do notice, however, that the shoe might be slightly wider or higher than I need. I’ve noticed this now that I’m wearing the shoes with very thin cycling socks instead of the thicker sports socks I was wearing when I bought them. This is definitely something to bear in mind.

These are my first 'reliable' cycling shoes and I am very satisfied with them. Power transfer to the bike is much better and clamping with the boa pivot system is very easy. This was more than worth it!

Beautiful shoes. I've only just put them on, but the texture is soft and comfortable. Fast, top-notch delivery.

Top cycling shoe! Very comfortable, sits perfectly on the foot and offers relatively good power transfer, although I would perhaps like a little more stiffness. No pressure or uncomfortable feeling even on longer rides. High-quality workmanship - absolutely recommendable!

The shoes fit great, ordered a size larger than normal thanks to Mantel's size guide, so it's just right.

Bought as a replacement for my 2018 Shimano shoes, but now with BOA system. This makes life just that little bit easier. In the end, I walked out of the shop with exactly the same size as my previous Shimano shoes. But the very helpful salesperson had also let me try on the wide version.

I chose this model because there are no large sizes of the women's model. The fit is slightly wider than the women's model but the boa buckles allow it to be tight enough. The shoe is stiff but remains comfortable. Of course, it also looks very sleek!

These shoes are fine, but for this price I expected a bit more comfort. After about an hour, my toes start sleeping and I have to keep them moving as far as possible. If you are just starting cycling and doing short rides, this shoe is fine.

the annoying thing is that I do still suffer from burning foot after 100 km.
