I mainly chose a narrower 130mm S1 saddle, based on the 105mm of my ischios (fizik aliante r3 of 145mm for 10 years) and I chose mantel for the possibility of returning the item after testing. In the end, my purchase turned out to be very satisfactory: the saddle is less rigid (but still quite hard and not suitable for occasional cyclists) and therefore more comfortable than my old one, the cover is soft and doesn't slip: my irritations in the gluteal fold have disappeared thanks to the shape and width of the saddle, but certainly also thanks to a more stable position. For the moment, I've only done 5-6 hour rides, so it remains to be seen over longer distances...

Although I've never had an Italia brand saddle, I'm pleasantly surprised by the comfort and stability on the bike. Good advice from Mantel about the width of the saddle.

I've been looking for a saddle for a while and found this site by chance. The big advantage is that you can try it out for 1 month and if it doesn't suit you, you can either exchange it or get your money back. After 2 trials on two different saddles, I think I've found the right one. I went out on the road bike yesterday afternoon for 3 hours and felt no pain, unlike my previous outings. I hope I've finally found the saddle that suits me after testing it on the IDMatch app. Each saddle is personal and varies according to your measurements, your pins, your pelvis etc... Fast delivery and very competitive prices. You can order with your eyes closed, very serious site and after-sales service up to its ambitions.

Pros & Cons

Cycling saddle is a very personal choice. I tried 3 different saddles before this one, and didn't feel comfortable with non of them. My recommendation is make us of the 30 days return policy of Matel and try different saddles, until you are satisfied.

In my opinion, a good-looking saddle and this one was recommended by my bikefitter because my current saddle was too small. This one fits me perfectly. A bit pricey though.
