MET Manta MIPS

As I said, the helmet has a very good performance no annoying wind noise on the ears very important on long rides. Mips is a safe companion when riding through urban areas and fast downhill rides. The magnetic fastener should be used with caution when adjusting the helmet for the first time as it snaps in tightly and holds securely but is a sure guarantee of safety.

Helmet fits me perfectly For winter it might be an advantage that the helmet is fairly closed, don't know yet what this will give in summer (heat)? To keep bugs out, it might also be better suited than helmet with many holes. Closure deviates a bit from typical helmet closures, mr no problems with it.

Pros & Cons

The helmet looks very nice out of the box and on your head. However, MIPS rubs against the helmet and, as a result, the helmet creaks at every bump. After a ride, a huge sweat smell in the pads - something I haven't had with any helmet before. Six loose pads are also not going to wash out after every ride. The unique system for securing the helmet is not very intuitive besides being too long. For this money, a very mediocre helmet.
