Before you start this, know that you need special tools for opening and closing the "Missing Link" link and possibly shortening the chain, as I have to do that. In addition, it is wise to put on the pair of latex gloves. The old chain is generally not exactly clean. If the chain has to be shortened count the number of links and do not assume the length of the old chain one link too many and you cannot get the chain tight. Furthermore, opening and closing the Link is easy if you have the right pliers. Above all, don't forget to turn the chain tension back or you won't get the new chain attached.
