Giro Savant MIPS

After two years of cycling I've finally found a helmet that actually fits. Previous helmets have either marked my forehead with indentations or have slipped out of position. I'm doubly impressed because this is also the lightest helmet that I have trialled.

Although it's quite good it's too pricey for what you get I think.

I bought this helmetbin the January sales having read earlier reviews. I decided to invest in the MIPS version which has turned to be a very comfortable option. The "matt" white colour is very underwhelming and is the only bad point I can say about this lid.

This Giro Savant is a decent helmet for people with big heads. My head circumference is around 63 cm and the Giro XL sizing allows me to use cap and hood under it. Great - this was what I was looking for! My complaints are the squeaky noise probably originating from MIPS (at least in cold weather) and the cheap type of chin strap (at this price point I'd expect a bit better tightening system).

Bought as replacement for my Giro Monza which had to be retired after doing its ultimate job. Looks/feels good; excellent venting; solid feel.

Seems good so far, for the 18 miles i've had with! Probably can't say for sure until i've had an accident!

Almost as good as the top-end models but at half the price

To coin a phrase, does exactly what it says on the tin!

Great helmet fits snug and can be adjusted when on. Cool on hot days too. Best value i could find was mantel

Only one adjustment but produces a very comfortable fit. Light, efficient helmet & doesn't look bulky at all. Very pleased with purchase.
