The pliers work fine to easily loosen and tighten the quick links. The only thing that would make it even more convenient is a function to hold the chain together and keep your hands free to loosen the chain while it cannot be knocked away by the derailleur

First I fiddled around with various pointed pliers which didn't work. With these pliers it is very easy to assemble and disassemble the chain.

I used the pliers for adjusting my bike chain and this was excellent. Previously I did this with less suitable tools, this was much better.

Releasing is smooth and easy. Snap on you have to pull handle apart, unfortunate not ergodynamic handle, bit of a shame. Despite that, the pliers do work.

The pliers do not open far enough, causing the link not to engage. Solved by removing the central nut so that the jaws open further. But of course that can't be the intention

Pliers are the tool of choice. How much I have struggled with flat nose pliers, screwdrivers and the like. If I had known how easily and with how little effort this is possible with the right tool, I would have saved myself a lot. The pliers are absolutely sufficient for the ambitious hobby screwdriver. A clear recommendation to buy

While fitting my new chain, I used these pliers to fix the missing link. It works well and without any problems. You can also use these pliers to remove the missing link again. Multifunctional so, which is super!

When placed, the jaw cannot open far enough if it is in the two adjacent links. The 1 point of the jaw does not fit into the quicklink itself because it is still too small. Only after extending the slot with a drill and a file do the pliers work fine.

If you want to change your chain with missing link every now and then, these pliers come in handy. Before, I was always fiddling around a bit and then you get it loose too for example, but this works more nicely.

De tang ligt fijn in de hand maar gaat niet ver genoeg open om de Shimano 11 speed te sluiten. Erg nutteloos op deze manier.

The tank works very well to remove the missing-link. 'Clicking back' a new missing-link is tricky, though. The jaw just fits between an 11s or 12s link.

Chain only loosened 1x yet. But like it well. Now I could easily clean the chain and cassette. Because the chain is removed you can clean the rest of the bike nicely. Without smearing everything with oil that often comes off the chain. Chain is also very easy to put back on.

These missinglink pliers do what they are supposed to do, clip and open the missinglink. The pliers feel sturdy and due to the use of rubber grips, sit well in the hand.

Bought to seal new KMC e101 EPT chain with missing link link. Unfortunately this does not work for this chain (1-speed). Maybe for other chains it will? Didn't try opening it (yet). So it was of no use to me.

Replaced a chain with it today. The pliers work super for loosening the quick link. However, it was disappointing when clicking it closed. The pliers do not open far enough for three links. The tips are too thick to fit between them properly when the quick link has not yet clicked through properly.
