According to the product specialist

Pros
The 200g Primaloft Gold material provides good insulation and breathability.
The NGR Air Carbon Reinforced sole provides a good balance between comfort and stiffness.
Northwave's SLW2 pivot system allows easy and precise adjustment of the shoe.
The Arctic 4Layer insole consists of four different layers for good insulation.
The ideal shoe to use when the days feel cold but the real winter hasn't started yet.
Excellent fit due to the new X-Dial SLW3 fastening mechanism.
The NRG Air Carbon sole offers both comfort and good power transfer.
The AirFlow system provides an ideal airflow along the bottom of the shoe.
Thanks to the Unibody construction, there are no pressure points on the foot.
The ventilation holes across the shoe ensure good breathability.
The perforated synthetic leather creates a great fit and breathability.
This cycling shoe can be adjusted quickly and precisely with the BOA® L6 dial closure.
The nylon sole is reinforced with fibreglass, which ensures better power transfer.
The integrated seamless midsole gives the RC300 more stability.
Cons
The carbon-injected sole is less stiff than a full carbon sole, but more comfortable.
Note that this is a winter shoe and thus too warm to ride with during the warmer winter days.
With a full carbon sole, the power transfer to the pedals is even better than with this sole.
In order to use the shoe with SPD pedals, you will need a separate adapter. This does not come with the shoes as standard.
Although the nylon sole has been reinforced with fibreglass it is still not as stiff as a full carbon sole.
