Description

The Mavic Ksyrium Pro Carbon UST Disc road bike wheels for disc brakes are nice and light and brake well in all conditions. The weight of just over 1600 grams makes the Ksyrium Pro Carbon's ideal for use in the mountains. However, they are very responsive to acceleration after a turn or in a sprint. not just in hilly terrain but on flat roads as well. The 32 mm semi-high carbon rims give you an aerodynamic advantage over lower wheels. This is due to the NACA design, which means that the shape of the rim is inspired by the wing of an aeroplane. This ensures minimal aerodynamic drag.

The Ksyrium Pro Carbon UST Disc wheels can be made tubeless thanks to the UST technology. This prevents punctures, increases comfort and grip and also reduces rolling resistance. The wide 21 mm rim makes it possible to ride with outer tyres from 25 mm to 32 mm. The Mavic Instant Drive 360 body engages quickly with a 9-degree engagement, allowing you to get back up and running quickly after a corner. A large rubber seal ensures low friction and a good seal.

(UST) Universal Standard Tubeless
The Mavic Ksyrium Pro Carbon UST Disc road bike wheels can also be made tubeless thanks to UST technology. This has numerous advantages such as reduced rolling resistance, more ride comfort and improved grip. The most important advantage of tubeless riding is that you can keep on riding when you have a puncture. The liquid latex fills the hole in the tyre within seconds.

Technologies

(UST) Universal Standard for Tubeless
The rim is ready to ride without an inner tube. Rim tape is therefore not necessary. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort and also reduces inertia and punctures.

(Instant Drive 360)
The Instant Drive 360 freewheel body system is super light and has a quick grip ratchet system with only 9° engagement. A large rubber seal ensures low friction and a good seal. An oversized axle and the hardened aluminium body save 40 grams.
