SW-M9250 Shifter: the perfect gear shifting solution
The XTR M9250 shifter offers an unrivalled shifting experience that feels instantly natural. With two versatile shift buttons that are adjustable in both height and rotation direction, the shifter can be easily customised to the user's hand shape and size. This ensures optimal control and comfort on every ride, whatever the conditions.
Sophisticated technology for today's riders
The programmable third button on the shifter gives you complete freedom in terms of function allocation and can easily be set via the E-TUBE app. Whether you want to use it to operate your bike computer or for other e-functions, the SW-M9250 gives you the technology you need. The shifter has a rubber grip surface and is available in two mounting options: I-SPEC EV for a sleek finish and ease of use, or a clamping strap.
RD-M9250 rear derailleur
The XTR M9250 rear derailleur is Shimano's first fully wireless derailleur. Its battery is well concealed and covered inside the derailleur and, therefore, protected from any impacts and weather influences. The derailleur has been designed to withstand any form of impact and has a special impact-deflecting shape that makes it quite flexible. Thus, in case of an impact, the derailleur automatically and instantly returns to its original position to continue the ride as if nothing has happened. The jockey wheels are completely covered and placed in a full carbon derailleur cage. The long cage is made for the 10-51 cassette, and the medium cage is compatible with the 9-45 cassette.
Battery, charger and quick-link
The compact 310 MaH battery will last at least 300 kilometres. It is perfectly concealed inside the derailleur and can be easily removed for charging. The charger is included in the kit, as is a USB-C cable. Since the chain has to be disconnected for derailleur installation, a new quick-link is also included.
CS-M9200: The evolution of HYPERGLIDE + shifting
The M9200 cassette is the latest innovation in the area of HYPERGLIDE + shifting. With optimised tooth profiles on the cassette, this shifting group offers improved performance under high loads. The combination of smoothness, speed and durability makes this cassette unique. The 10-51T configuration makes for an impressive 510% range, making this cassette the most versatile one in the XTR family. The 9-45T version enables riding with a smaller front chainring and shorter derailleur, saving weight and increasing clearance to the ground.
Materials
The M9200 cassette is only compatible with a Microspline freehub. A strategic mix of steel and titanium cogs makes this cassette lightweight as well as very robust, giving race riders confidence in all conditions. The 10-51T version uses the regular lockring. To accommodate the 9-tooth cog, the 9-45T version uses a different lockring, which also requires a different lockring tool (cf. link under Compatibility below).
