The Genus II SL30-R wheelset
The Genus II SL30-R wheels rank among the lightest ever made. Their total weight of 1188 grams is exceptional, and is achieved by using lightweight components and carbon spokes. With a 21 mm inner width, the rims ensure that today's wide tyres fit perfectly. While the wheels can accommodate 23 to 36 mm tyre widths, the recommended width is between 26 and 32 mm.
Optimal stability and comfort
The Genus II CL30-R wheels feature a 2:1 spoke ratio, with as many as 21 spokes per wheel. This pattern is perfectly capable of absorbing the asymmetric forces exerted on a wheel, resulting in smooth cycling without the least bit of wobbling. Whether you ride on flat roads or steep hills, these wheels always deliver optimal performance and confidence.
Collaboration with pro riders
This wheelset was developed in collaboration with several UCI teams, including Intermarché-Wanty. The wheels have been optimised down to the last details using the results of wind tunnel tests at the Bike Valley facility in Beringen. This is reflected in the performance of the time trial wheels, which boast impressive performances at the highest level in the Worldtour.

These wheels use the now-familiar ratchet hubs. In a ratchet hub, two toothed rings are pressed together by springs, engaging when you start pedalling. When you hold your legs still, the rings rotate over each other, creating the beautiful sound that is typical of these hubs. A ratchet hub is easy to maintain because no tools are required, so you will have a perfectly running hub again within minutes!
