Zipp Lifetime Warranty
The Zipp Lifetime Warranty gives you a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. This gives you ultimate security! The warranty becomes effective after registration of your wheel(s) with Zipp and is non-transferable.
The ZR1 hub is designed in Germany and provides better sealing of the ball bearings and includes a redesigned engagement system. This leads to improved hub durability and allows you to accelerate quickly with 66 engagement points!
Optimal speed thanks to windtunnel-optimised rim profile
The rim profile of Zipp 808 Firecrest carbon tubeless disc brake wheels is made with the ABLC Sawtooth design. This means that a profile like a golf ball is incorporated into the rim, leading the air around the rim in a steady, predictable flow. This reduces drag in crosswinds, and increases control! In addition, these Zipp wheels use the new method of printing logos directly on the wheels, instead of using conventional stickers. This doesn't compromise on aerodynamics and looks incredibly fast too.
Tubeless ready, so compatibility for more comfort
Zipp 808 Firecrest wheels are Tubeless Ready. This means you can choose whether you want to fit clinchers or tubeless tyres. With tubeless tyres it is possible to ride with lower tyre pressure than with clinchers. This promotes comfort on poorer road surfaces and allows you to be fast on all terrains!
