Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • With the low, centered profile on the tread, the Terreno Wet G2 focuses on speed and traction.
  • The 'cleaning channels' prevent the profile from getting clogged with mud and sand, so that an optimal grip is maintained in wet conditions.
  • The Terreno Wet G2 is less effective on a dry surface.

Description

Description

The Vittoria Terreno Wet Graphene 2.0 tyre is a specialist in wet and muddy conditions. The Terreno Wet G2 tyre has a low, centered profile on the tread. With this profile, the Terreno Wet G2 scores high on speed and traction. 'Cleaning channels' have been installed in the profile to prevent the profile from collapsing in the mud and on wet surfaces. These channels keep the tread free from mud and sand, so that optimum grip is maintained. That's why you can handle wet and muddy terrain with the Terreno Wet G2. It is not without reason that the Terreno Wet G2 tyre has been chosen as the World Cup tread pattern in muddy conditions. The Terreno G2 gives you grip, stability and confidence.

The Terreno Wet G2 tyre has a 120 TPI nylon carcass. This rigid and wear-resistant carcass will not let you down on rougher surfaces. Like the other tyres from the Vittoria G2 collection, the Terreno Wet G2 is also derived from the Graphene 2.0 rubber mix. By using Graphene rubber compounds, Vittoria manages to create an optimal balance between grip, durability and rolling resistance.

Nothing to say about these tyres....

- Kamille 13 September 2023

I'm happy with these tyres. A versatile tyre

Relatively heavy running belt with lots of grip

- Stefan 4 December 2022

The Vittoria Wet Graphene is one of few mud tires for sale in a comfortable width of 38-40 mm. Top! In practice, the tire runs (tubeless) quite heavier than a Challenge Baby Limus. While the grip is comparably good. On fast turns with a stump or unevenness, the tire quickly loses air. By the way, this is a common problem with tubeless CX tires.

Pros & Cons

Comfortable
Grip
Wider than standard cross-tire
Loses air at CX
Runs heavy

Fine tire good value for money

- Erik 21 November 2022

Tire is easy to mount: just make sure the tire is well rounded on the rim and use mounting foam. Plops easily into the rim. Steers easily in difficult terrain. You maintain grip.

Pros & Cons

Easy to mount
Good "handling" in heavy terrain

Top off-road tyre!!!

- Jo 12 October 2021

I have now put these tyres on for the 2nd time because they are particularly good against punctures and are hugely biting. There are only 2 drawbacks: the tread wears very quickly, especially at the rear. Thereby the tyres are vainly slow on asphalt.

Pros & Cons

Can be ridden on 2 bar
Enormous grip
Very good puncture resistance, also sideways
Slow on asphalt
Wear very quickly, especially at the rear

Great tyre to turn regular road bike into a gravel bike

- Sjacco 22 September 2021

I bought these tyres to ride my road bike in the woods for once. I tested them out in the Pyrenees on a gravel track high in the mountains. This went great. The tyres fit nicely on my Specialized road bike and ride fine. You can still vary the air pressure a bit for comfort. I am happy with them

Pros & Cons

Fast delivery
Fits regular road bike
Good profile
Sat a little tight on the rim.
