The Tubolito Tubo Road is 2019’s sensation for inner tubes. This very innovative and ultralight road bike inner tube only weighs 38 grams. With this minimal weight, the Tubo Road faces off against butyl and latex inner tubes.

A unique compound and production

Inner tubes are underappreciated in competitive cycling. Using an inner tube results in higher rolling resistance, and puncture chances are higher than with tubeless or tubular tyres. With the ultimate compound of synthetic rubbers combined with unique manufacturing technology, Tubolito has created an inner tube that’s up to 66 percent lighter and up to twice as strong as regular inner tubes.

Competing with other inner tubes

The Tubo Road inner tube will often weigh 70 grams less than the average butyl inner tube. Latex inner tubes generally also weigh about 30 grams more than the Tubo Road. When it comes to puncture resistance, Tubolito also leaves other inner tubes in the dust. Tubolito claims their inner tubes score up to twice as high in puncture resistance tests than standard inner tubes. The size of a rolled-up inner tube is also much smaller than a normal butyl inner tube. You can easily bring these Tubolito road bike tube in a saddle bag or backpack.

The ultimate weapon

Due to the extremely low weight of the Tubo Road inner tubes, the difference compared to tubeless tyres is minimised. Combined with the improved puncture resistance, Tubolito has created the ultimate weapon for any competitive circumstance. Please note:If the Tubolito tyre is not mounted on the rim, do not inflate the inner tube more than 0.5 Bar due to the risk of deformation.

Great super protection and fitting

got this product after riding a gravel race, I punctured a butyl tube in 2 miles, my friend had Tubolito fitted and breezed the whole race! So I got these!

Really light

Really light, fitted easily with no drama, a little early to comment on puncture protection but they have done a few rides on really grotty roads with no punctures.

Excellent tube alternative

These tubolito really are excellent, very light with superb puncture resistance, my only negative is the colour, if only they had black valves it would be a 10. They may look expensive on face value, but I would say compare them to premium inner tubes but with these you have a better resilience.

Really light

Really light, fitted easily with no drama, a little early to comment on puncture protection but they have done a few rides on really grotty roads with no punctures.

Excellent tube alternative

These tubolito really are excellent, very light with superb puncture resistance, my only negative is the colour, if only they had black valves it would be a 10. They may look expensive on face value, but I would say compare them to premium inner tubes but with these you have a better resilience.
