The Tacx Flux Smart is a compact and realistic interactive direct-drive trainer, which also makes it virtually maintenance-free. Thanks to the highly reactive Smart-electronics and the 7 kg flywheel, any fluctuations in resistance are instantly transferred to your legs.
The Flux Smart T2900 has the heaviest flywheel of any Tacx trainer with a rotational inertia of 23 kg. The higher the rotational inertia, the more realistic the trainer will feel. The Flux Smart uses ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart to communicate with other devices, making it compatible with smartphones, tablets, and (cycling)computers. The ANT+ FE-C protocol allows you to train with both the Tacx apps and those made by third parties such as Zwift and TrainerRoad. The trainer can also be used as a stand-alone unit. If the Flux isn't paired to a training program, it will simulate a steady flat-road feel.
Note: All our turbo trainers come with a Euro plug. A UK plug or adapter is not included.
