SRAM Red 22 Groupset

Description

Sram has set a new standard with the new Red 22 groupset. It's a massive step forward, not just when it comes to weight reduction but functionality as well. Red 22 is the first 11-speed groupset that doesn't require front derailleur trim to use all of the cogs on the cassette because of the new Yaw front derailleur. With Sram, 11-speed really does mean having 22 gears! Sram held on to everything that made the previous generation Red DoubleTap shifters great, but changed the ergonomics slightly to make them feel more natural in your hands.

Delivery includes

• Shifters: Sram Red 22, 2 x 11 speed
• Crank set: Sram Red 22
• Cassette: XG-1190 cassette, 11 speed
• Rear derailleur: Sram Red 22, 11 speed
- The choice between a short- and long-cage rear derailleur is automatically linked to your choice of cassette, so a short cage up to the 28t, and a WiFli derailleur from 30t onward.
• Front derailleur: Sram Red C22 double (braze on)
• Chain: Sram PC-1190, 11 speed
• Brake calipers: Sram Red 22

This groupset really deserves a set of ceramic bearings, but can perfectly used with steel bearings to reduce the overall costs, which can also be found on our website. Sram uses the following bottom bracket bearings with this groupset:

Threaded GXP bottom bracket:
- Sram GXP ceramic BSA

GXP Press-fit bottom bracket:
- Sram GXP Press Fit ceramic

BB30 bottom bracket:
- Sram BB30 ceramic

Press-fit 30 bottom bracket:
- Sram Press Fit 30 ceramic
