Detailed product description
No more sensor required on your wheel. All ride data is tracked and recorded to the device via GPS. You can analyse your ride afterwards at home through the Sigma DATA CENTER. For a quick spot check, simply use the Sigma LINK App to update your GPS location. You'll always be ready to go this way!
The Sigma Pure GPS is fitted with a barometric altimeter. An accurate barometric sensor provides your Pure GPS with an accurate elevation read-out. Your starting elevation is determined via GPS or via a manually entered starting elevation. The computer has an easy to read graphic representation of the elevation profile, as well as showing you your current rate of ascent/descent.
Pair your Sigma Pure GPS to a windows PC, Mac, or tablet using a micro-USB cable. Simply link it to the proprietary Sigma DATA CENTER. Once your ride is complete, you can read the data on your device via the Sigma LINK app on an Android smartphone. This does require NFC connectivity. NFC stands for Near Field Communication and isn't supported by iPhone. You can also set-up your Sigma Pure GPS cycling computer directly from the app on your phone. Use the Sigma DATA CENTER for an even more detailed record and analysis of your ride.
The Sigma Pure GPS features compass navigation. A directional arrow shows you the quickest way (as the crow flies) to the starting point of your ride. Ideal if you're cycling in an unknown area.
The Sigma PURE GPS features a highly accurate barometric sensor. The barometric altimeter in the device is unusual for a GPS unit in this price range. The Sigma Pure GPS is capable of providing you with accurate elevation data, even showing you your current rate of ascent/descent. The starting elevation at the beginning of a ride is easily determined via GPS, or simply select a pre-set elevation on the device.
The Pure GPS shows you a statistic on your training of the last 12 months, besides providing you with the totals. This convenient training log allows you to compare your monthly activities and track your progress. You can store a number of rides under Activities on the device. You can check your total distance, ride time, average speed, max. speed, elevation gain, maximum elevation, and number of calories expended here.
Curious about your cumulative data? The totals of your distance, ride time, elevation gain, and calories expended are stored under "Totals" in the menu. These totals can be erased from the device separately from all other stored data under "Settings".
The Sigma Pure GPS has a built-in memory capable of storing over 110 hours of riding time and automatically stores every ride. This way you'll never lose your ride data. Whether you transfer that data to the Sigma DATA CENTER or Sigma LINK app is something you can determine once you've got access to your phone or computer again.
The Sigma Pure GPS has an easy to read screen which measures 32 x 45 mm. It's the largest screen available on the Sigma cycling computers. The Pure GPS features a backlight which helps you see the screen clearly under poor light conditions.
The Sigma Pure GPS is spray-waterproof in accordance with the IPX7 standard and therefore suitable for use in the rain. The advanced electronics give the Pure GPS its slim and compact design. The sturdy bar mount can easily be attached to the handlebars or stem.
The three button operation is both intuitive and user-friendly. There's a button for the bike functions, one for the elevation functions, and one in the middle to serve as an on/off, start/stop, or menu-button.
If the recording of your ride is involuntarily interrupted, for instance by the loss of a GPS signal, then the PURE GPS is capable of filling in the missing gap. The menu option "Auto Pauze" allows you to chose whether the data recording should be continued during the interruption or not. If the positions of the beginning and end of the interruption don't match, then the device will calculate the distance between them automatically.
