The classic SPD PD-M520 pedal is a tried and trusted pedal because of its durability and good value for money.
Simple in use thanks to a double-sided click-in system.
The Shimano PD-M520 allows you to click in and out on both sides of the pedal. This makes it the ideal pedal for those just starting out cycling, but advanced cyclists will also have a lot of fun with it. The pedal is not expensive to purchase, but has the same technology as the more expensive XT and XTR series. These pedals are a lot heavier than the more expensive siblings, but at a favourable price.
Easy to clean thanks to the open profile
The PD-M520 pedal has an open profile, which prevents the mud from getting stuck in. The spring tension is also adjustable and you can set it very low and easily click it out or screw it up. The pedals are supplied with the SH-M51 cleats with 3 degrees of play.
In short, the Shimano PD-M520 pedals are durable all-rounders that are suitable for many situations!
