The Shimano ME100 is a versatile mountain bike shoe for the novice mountain biker. It is an affordable off-road cycling shoe with the quality, comfort and performance that you can expect from Shimano.
The artificial leather and the velcro fasteners ensure a comfortable fit
The ME100 is made of an artificial leather, which combines a comfortable fit with good ventilation. This fit is easily adjusted via the two Velcro fasteners and results in the foot remaining securely in place. This way you will also experience perfect support while pedalling during mountain biking.
The midsole is reinforced with fiberglass and the outsole offers a lot of grip
The nylon midsole of this mountain bike shoe is reinforced with fiberglass, which results in better power transfer to the pedals. As a result, your efforts e are better converted into speed. The durable, rubber outsole offers excellent grip and traction. This ensures that you can easily walk next to the bike with these MTB shoes.
The reflective print on the heel cap improves visibility
The heel cap of the ME100 has a reflective print. This makes these shoes more visible in the dark or in circumstances with relatively little light. In short, with these MTB shoes you are safer while on the bike.

To help you as best we can in choosing the right shoe size, we measured all shoes ourselves. All you have to do now is measure your own foot length and we will indicate which shoe size fits you best per brand. You can easily measure your foot by placing an A4 sheet on the floor against the wall. Stand with your foot on the paper with your heel against the wall. Draw a line next to your big toe (or the toe next to it if it's longer). Mark your other foot on the paper as well and then continue with the largest foot. Now measure this distance and you have your foot length in cm's! Please note: some suppliers have their own measurement system, which means that what is on the shoe box may differ from what we have measured.
The shoe size you need may vary per brand. This is because certain brands have a smaller or larger last. In addition, we have divided the shoes into narrow / medium / wide. Read all about this on our blog!
