A tubeless rim tape is used to make your Tubeless Ready wheel set airtight. To be able to make your wheel set tubeless you must cover all spoke holes completely and airtight. When purchasing tubeless tape mind the width of the rim. The tubeless rim tape must cover the entire rim bed. A rim tape that is too large or too narrow may cause the formation of 'air ducts' which may cause air loss.
