Satisfied with the product. Fits my needs

- Joan, 13 September, 2022

Product that delivers what it promises, good performance on dry soil and asphalt, although it slips a lot on loose gravel, especially in curves.

Pros & Cons

Rolls very well on asphalt and hard soil
Does not grip well on sand and loose soil

Nice tyre, but with inner tube.

- Bram, 3 May, 2022

Poorly tubeless. Returned tyre once, turned out to be poor manufacturing indeed. New tyre deflates again, possibly the same batch, but I will ride with inner tube again.

Pros & Cons

Grip
Runs well on asphalt
Poor tubeless performance

Very fine gravel tyre for dry and wet conditions

- Tom, 6 January, 2022

Very nice tyre. I use the gravel bike a lot for hard surfaces (gravel, forest and asphalt), so I was looking for a tyre that runs a bit smoother on these surfaces. First had the WTB Riddlers, also fine tyres but a bit more rolling resistance on the road. Now done a few rides with the Byways and am bowled over. Grip is good, can fast through dirt corners and even in wet conditions plenty of grip. Really in mud, the tyre falls short. For that you will really need more tread anyway, or a mtb :). In short. Very good tyre and extremely suitable for gravel trails!

Pros & Cons

Grip
Looks
Low rolling resistance
Not suitable for mud

Worst band ever

- Lieven, 3 December, 2021

Tyre seals easily on the rim. But fluid leaks all along the sidewall seams. Using more fluid does not help. Furthermore, this tyre is not puncture-proof at all. Mini pebble in the tread was enough for a puncture where the milk had to seal. Back to the tried-and-tested Schwalbe g-ones....

Pros & Cons

High price for substandard quality
Lightweight design makes this tyre very fragile
Tubeless fluid leaks through the sidewall
Uncertain feeling in corners

Price-quality disappoints, unfortunately.

- Ron, 1 November, 2021

First 2 rides 2 leaks. They bulge well for 47mm. Assembly also relatively easy. For this price you expect better puncture resistance. Will not buy a second set again there are better alternatives.

Pros & Cons

Flexible tyre
Looks
Low rolling resistance
Expensive
Non puncture resistant

Rubbish tyres....sorry!

- Giles, 6 September, 2021

Previously had WTB Horizons, and did 2000k with no trouble running as tubeless, amazing tyres! Then needed something with more grip to sides so thought WTB, as were good last time. I was so wrong! Set up as tubeless on same wheels, and used stans sealeant as before, they leak from side wall and did not stay inflated . First ride they went flat, second ride the same, third ride air started to leak from side wall, so had to stop and lean over so sealeant sealed. then next day I looked they were flat. Not a great set of tyres, possibly the worse I have ever had. Not very happy with purchase at all.

Pros & Cons

Look nice
Price
Terrible tubeless!

Comfortable all-round gravel tyre with plenty of grip and comfort

- Tom, 12 March, 2021

Recently bought a set of these tyres for a Shimano 650b wheelset, the tyres are 47 mm wide. Fortunately, these tyres are also available in all-black, with the light sidewall from the 1970s they do not fit a modern gravel racer as far as I am concerned. Fitting is very easy and the tyres can be inflated with an ordinary pump. Naturally, tubeless tyres are fitted and it is noteworthy that some of the anti-puncture fluid initially sweats through the tyre sides. Only after more than two months did this stop in my case. However, from the first fitting with a pretty hefty amount of anti-puncture fluid, the tyres are well airtight. Riding is a pleasure, the width means you don't have to inflate the tyres very hard (with my 95 kg between 2 and 2.5 bar) resulting in a lot of comfort and the tyres roll very smoothly on both paved and unpaved roads, it feels like rolling resistance is minimal (comparable to Pirelli Cinturato gravel M, better than Schwalbe G-one and Vittoria Terreno mix). On dirt roads, the grip, even when a bit wetter, is unexpectedly good. The width of the tyre helps here, of course. You do notice in real blubber that the tread (only on the side a minimal row of studs) falls short but by then you are already far away from the surface this tyre is meant for. When steering on asphalt, it is noticeable that in a really sharp turn, the row of studs on the side do not give the most secure feeling, comparable to a studded tyre on asphalt. You certainly don't lack grip but you feel that the tyre is working and needs to set. This happens at speeds well above average and on steep inclines. All in all, a fine all-round tyre for a nice mix between road use and not too heavy off-road use with an overdose of comfort.

Pros & Cons

Also available in black
Easy assembly
Lots of grip
Rolls great on multiple surfaces
Very comfortable
Somewhat insecure feeling in corners due to studs
Sweat anti-leak liquid
