Fitting it to the bike was a piece of cake, nice fit just as suggested in the chat rooms, the quality is obvious and my ortieb low riders look great fitted. Only time will tell the rack's durability, but quite honestly the internet feedback is pretty robust. Mantel were very efficient even in the current crisis.

I can see why Tubus have such a good reputation now. Very sturdy and well made. Worth paying for the quality so you have piece of mind so it won't fail mid tour.

Nice tough looking rack fits nicely with disc brakes. Have done a couple hundred miles so far and having the bags down low really boosts the stability of the bike. Would highly recommend!

This is a very strong frame, which is the expected standard for the Tubus brand.

Prompt delivery and very well packaged. Will recommend Mantel and certainly use them again

Fitted the Tubus Tara to a 2009 Specialized Tricross, which has bosses inset in a carbon front fork. The Tara was supplied with most of the fittings needed, and is lightweight and well-made. I needed to source two self-locking nuts to secure the mudguard stays to their new location on the Tara. The horizontal bars were nowhere near horizontal after fitting, but putting them on upside down sorted that out. Just be aware then that the end stop on the horizontal bar may become ineffective in stopping a pannier sliding off.
