Ugly but super practical,.... do it!

- Wilco, 4 January, 2023

For road bike rides to work in the rain, I was looking for something that would keep my rear end just a little drier than completely soaked. It's quick and easy to twist on and off the seat post, which makes it standard on my bike. If I see that it is raining, in a minute the bike is fitted with a mudguard. If I take the MTB into the forest and it rains, that is also taken care of in a minute. See photo! Furthermore, the mudguard is just flexible enough not to break when I step on or off with my clumsy legs, but rigid enough not to sway in all directions. Also, the adjusting mechanism makes it easy to set the correct position.

Nice size, but shifts all the time.

- Viridis, 28 July, 2020

For the really wet autumn and winter months, I bought this rear mudguard. The quality is very good and it is nice and big. What is a pity though: while riding, the rear mudguard shifts all the time, so you still get a wet back and make a fool of yourself. As an MTB rider, you are actually looking for a rear mudguard that cannot shift (like this one: https://www.mantel.com/rapid-racer-products-proguard-rear).
