I use the carrier differently than most. I was looking for a good system for the back of my car that allowed me to transport my bike in one piece (with wheels inside). After searching, arrived at this carrier, so far satisfied.

What a great product, I should have had this earlier! The carrier is very easy to screw onto the roof racks, at least with Thule carriers. It is rock solid and a child can still do the assembly. My (carbon) road bike needed a frame protector but that thing only costs 2 tenner and it makes it feel more secure. I doubt this is really necessary but for that money...after all, the carrier itself already has rubber 'pads'. The bike is really secure on the roof. I drove about 250 km with it and stopped a few times to check, it's still a crazy feeling having such an expensive bike on the roof. Nothing but praise for this carrier because even after a long ride, the bike is still firmly in the carrier. A must have!

Good product from Thule. I use it for my Scott Scale MTB with carbon frame. Bike is safe and stable on the roof. Procedure for bike placement and removal is simple and easy to do by one person.

You notice immediately that it is good material, mounting is child's play but with two bindon holders on the frame you have to fiddle around a bit which can be a challenge for the smaller fellow. If you have a squarebar, a special adapter set is available for a few euros. Very nice that now I don't have to dismantle my bike every time.

Great product. I now have 2 of them. Nice that some parts are easy to turn and that you can put the bikes on them from both sides.

Looks great. Easy to assemble. Bike is very secure when on the roof. Brilliant product!

Ordered this through Mantel and came within days, much to my delight. The Thule ProRide 598 was my first choice and not disappointed at all. Easy instructions and fitted so easily to roof rack. The racket system is easy to use and good for locking bike in so hard to steal. Straps for the wheels is brilliant but only just found you can place the strap ends in the slots on same side to make it easier to put bike on carrier as before i struggled as straps got in the way. Never gave this in the instructions but not a problem. Would recommend this carrier to everyone no matter waht type of bike you have or frame as fitted my oval frame of 65 / 85
