Great product, great function, great value

This power meter is an affordable but excellent value addition if you like training data. It is beautifully finished and works well. Was simple to connect to my Garmin Edge and calibrate. The price was really good from Mantel and the Stages offers temperature compensation which some similarly priced competitors don’t. Best battery life in class too. Works with all Shimano Hollowtech cranksets - 147 q factor. Easy to fit.

Great value power meter

Super quick delivery from Mantel, the 105 crank arm was easy to fit and once app was loaded on my smart phone the power meter was set up in under a minute. Consistently gives me power with no drop outs in data whilst riding even as the weather gets really bad here in the UK. What's not to like at this price from Mantel?

I have used various power meters before such as Pioneer, Power2Max, Stages Dura-ace. Since I have just recently moved to Europe and was in need of a power meter for my new bike. But I didn't want to spend a fortune as I have done before. This Stages 105 R7000 fits right in the bill. Affordable but works flawlessly to give you an accurate measurement. Also, you can get any gen3 stages chainset Power Meter in the future to complete dual side measurement. Just one thing to note if you are considering mix and match. I have paired it with R8000 chainset, and I can feel a very slight flex on the left side from this 105. It doesn't bother me at all as I am a casual rider, but if you race on your bikes, I recommend you to match your chainset. Overall, very satisfied.
