I was not satisfied with my brakes. Then, on the advice of a nice employee in Nieuwegein, I bought the SLX. It braked well straight away, without breaking in. Sufficient braking power with two fingers and easy to dose.

After almost a year of trying everything to get rid of my squeaky brakes I tied the knot and bought these brakes along with SM-RT70 SLX M7000 / 105 R7000 discs from Mantel. I am using them on my Cube Delhi EXC 2016 Trekking bike. Very easy to install as they already bleed, so no need to bleed. I was really ready in no time. I've only cycled a few hundred kilometres with them, but what a puking set so together. This combination really has unprecedented braking power. In the beginning I even had to be careful not to crash over. I mainly ride on flat Dutch roads, so the resin blocks that came with the bike will do just fine. But with metal blocks they will certainly do very well in the mountains too (if you have the appropriate discs too, of course).
