very good

Lightweight but fragile paintwork.
Good pedals with great style. They're light for this type of pedal and have an excellent fulcrum. Big downside: the paint is very fragile. About 300km on them and the hinge is already gone in some places.

Good value for money
Nice, well finished pedals, but difficult to clip on, The pedal doesn't reset properly to engage the shoe. Maybe it'll work better as the cleats wear down.

Getting used to it
Takes a while to get into a good starting position. Feels like good support under foot. Was a bit less so with previous ones.

Good price-performance ratio
Fast and uncomplicated delivery! Pedal is light and allows the use of the SPD system also on road bikes. Unfortunately, it is not well balanced - rotates after clicking out, so that the click mechanism is vertical / is often down. The lacquer is quite sensitive Otherwise super product :)

Light, solid, takes some getting used to clicking in.
Meanwhile, I have been riding similar pedals from shimano for more than 20 years. So I don't expect any problems with this set either. The PD-ES600 is lighter than other models. But is, because the buckle does not always point upwards, a bit more difficult to get into. But I can live with that. I use the pedals on race/gravel bikes. So not really through the blubber, but all year round. So far, similar shimano pedals have caused few problems even with snow. Given the similar and open construction, I don't expect that with this set either. I haven't had this exact model for very long, but its predecessors lasted well over 20,000 kilometres, so durability will not be an issue. With this kind of spd pedals, the lacquer is actually always damaged, especially because you sometimes try to step in on the wrong side. Whereby you damage the lacquered part of the pedal with your cleats.

Nice pedals for the Race
Ride all SPD for years and sold my old pedals and now these on the race bike, totally fine

Nice lightweight compact peddle
The peddle is lightweight, compact and strong. On the downside it marks up quickly and "sits" with the reverse side up so you have to flick it over.
