After trying out several saddles, I finally found the one that suits my sitting position. Like my wife, after several trials I finally found the one that supports my sense of humour!

Fine saddle, which came out of Mantel's choice guide. After some research on PRO's own website, I was convinced by the advice. Installation is very easy, thanks to an included cardboard mould. This allows you to put the saddle in the same position as your current saddle. It sits nicely and looks sleek. Perhaps the saddle could be a bit softer, but that can also be solved with a different chamois.

It meets the expectations. The saddle is comfortable and of perfect width for those who need it (the biomechanist recommended it to me).

I took advantage of the 30-day trial time, and then returned the saddle. The saddle takes the pressure off the soft tissue, but in my case, I was getting a lot of discomfort from my sit bones.

Finding a suitable saddle is not so easy, luckily Mantel gave the opportunity to test for 30 days. In corona time, certainly handy. I might have ordered the Selle Italia SLR TM Super Flow too narrow, it gave unpleasant pressure on the inside of the sit bones. The Pro Stealth is a nice saddle, here you sit "in" straight away. However, because it is quite wide at the point where your inner thighs move, it chafed a bit too much for me. The Pro Turnix Flow proved to be the best shape for me. Saddle pain and the familiar sleeping bag have been reduced by 75%. I still slide a bit on the saddle, which was slightly less with the Pro Stealth. All in all, it always seems like a compromise, but for now I am happy with the choice I made.

Too little gel saddle

Pleasant saddle due to good shape and hardness. Because the saddle is hard and has an opening, I have experienced that the seat gets less hot and therefore does not cause blisters or chafing on long rides , 4-6 hours.

On test, I found it a bit hard after an hour and a half! Up until then, I'd had an SMP Stratos. I didn't want to continue After three rides, I went back to my old SMP, but I'm postponing the experiment! Saddles are a bit like companions or partners; you often need to know several to find the one that's right for you!

I bought this saddle to replace a Prólogo Novo that had served its purpose (7 years of loyal - but sometimes painful! - service for some 40,000 km). The first contact with the newcomer on a circuit of about forty kms left my buttocks hungry for a little more smoothness... And I was a little reluctant to send it back to the sender. Then I tested it out on longer outings (3 to 6 hours) and, by golly, it finally convinced me. It's certainly firmer than my previous bike, but it doesn't bounce as much off the rough patches and bumps of the tarmac. The slightly deeper seat corresponds better to my sixty-something morphology, which has never been a monster of suppleness, and the central recess, even if it doesn't add much in terms of comfort, at least has the merit of stabilising the fellow... Oh, and I forgot: I've saved 80g in exchange!
