After some negative experiences with bike shops (not listening to what you want and not doing a repair properly), I decided to take the plunge myself. I will replace my cassette and freehub myself if "you guys" won't do it. Watched videos on Youtube, practiced with my second bike. And yes, it's true, good tools are half the battle. This kit does exactly what it's made for: simply loosen your cassette, and I could reach my freehub. The freehub had been assembled incorrectly by a very reputable bike store, it turned out to be nonsense that my freehub could not accommodate another cassette, and more importantly: Tinkering with your bike is really not difficult if you have the right tools. Very happy with the set and highly recommended for the novice bike handyman. NB I have an older Shimano Deore XT set on my bike.

You can replace your cassette e quickly and easily, or just use it to lubricate your body and clean the cassette. This set is easy to use and made of high quality material.

The wrench and chain punch do what they are made for. Rugged material. Also conveniently useful to simply mount and dismount your brake discs for cleaning during this winter weather. Little tip when disassembling cassettes. Wear a pair of gloves to protect your tar sheet when the lock nut suddenly comes loose.

Fine set of tools that make removing the casette a breeze. Tools are relatively idiot-proof, lie comfortably in the hand and are long enough to apply good force. Ideally, the taker would still have a built in/adjustable torque, so that you always tighten the casette with the right amount of force - though it's understandable that at this price this might be a bit difficult.
