POC Octal X

The helmet fits well and is comfortable. Seems to be well ventilated, and is not noticably noisy at speed. Extra pads are a nice addition. Is hard to slot spot sunglasses into vents, and the eye garage doesnt work with non-poc shades.

Pros & Cons

I have had giro synthe and bontrager ballista. Both have good ventilation, good looks and fit well. But this poc helmet exceeds them in all of those categories - also in safty. Sometimes i like to use classic looking helmets and other times i feel even proud to wear something that isn t THAT mainstream. Not every cool thing is mainstream! ☝
