Good waterproof bags with solid hook system
Super convenient hooking system, my bag has never been knocked off the carrier. The hooks are also strong. Only the new construction of the hooks is not as good, they kept rattling until I put ti-raps between them. The material is stiffer than my old Back-Roller bags, so it rolls up more difficult.

Remains the pannier set.
My old Ortliebs broke down after 8 years, the seams were coming loose. This can no longer be glued / vulcanised so just bought a new set. Hope these will last longer.

Saddlebags that are already a classic in cyclotourism.
Very good saddlebags, in fact, they are the second ones I have. The first were a city and I broke one for not carrying it well hooked, my fault. I recommend it for cyclotourism!

Robust, well-finished product
The product meets my needs, but I'm sorry I didn't choose a model with a padlock.

40 litre volume is a huge plus for all aspects of winter cycling & touring.
Having used Ortlieb Front Roller Plus Panniers [Cordura construction, 25 litres combined volume] in ever day use for 7 years I 'upgraded' to the Back Roller Classic for winter use [PVC construction, 40 litres combined volume]. Excellent quality & adaptability from Ortlieb.

Good saddlebags
Very satisfied with the saddlebags but opening and closing is a bit costly.

Extensive closure.
Did not understand from the description that it is the shoulder strap that is used for locking, closing the bag. It is a bit awkward to get it in the right place. Would rather have seen that there were buckles on the sides.

Ideal bags for commuting and vacation
We already had two sets of these bags front and rear. We really like them so without hesitation we bought another set of rear bags so that all of us in our family can carry luggage during our cycling vacations.

Super quality - real relief
Super processed, real relief - otherwise I was always on the road with backpack - and a real space miracle. Only the shoulder straps are rather well-intentioned instead of really helpful. Clearly you wear the bag actually on the wheel - if you take it but then loaded the carrying is not very comfortable - then but prefer to reach for the bag with "backpack function" ;)

Good workmanship and very practical.
The bags are well made and can be quickly mounted on the bike. The two inner pockets are also very practical.

Quality bicycle panniers that last years.
I spoje to someone from Mantel. The person was very helpful. I was clarifying an issue before l bought the bicycle panniers. You could make it clearer the litre size and the exact model type. I bought x2 Ortlieb bicycle panniers and an really pleased by this purchase. Before l bought a cheap bicycle pannier and it basically fell apart. These Ortlieb bicycle panniers, hold enough for me to do a large shop and carry back on my bicycle. I like the amount you can fit into the panniers, the bright colours, the sturdy quality and the easy attachment and release system. The positives definitely outlay the negatives, but if there are negatives l would say these two things: (1) It's vdry easy for the release strap to get caughtbinside the plastic grasping hooks, which then make a it hard to release the panniers. (2) The fabric strap on the outside of the pannier, is not long enough to clip on when you have a lot of stuff inside the pannier. I have to use an elastic strap in order to close the pannier.

Great design, but expensive
There's no denying that these panniers are probably the best available. They're easy to use, well-made and have lots of well-thought out features. I can't think of how this design could be improved on, but if I really had to come up with a negative it would be the straps. They're fiddly to tuck into the little holders to prevent them fouling the wheels as you ride. The only other negative would be the price. It's a lot of money, but they do look like they're built to last.
