Worth the money.

- Vinny, 9 November, 2020

Have been a while contemplating buying a pair for quite a while. Cost being the main thing holding me back. Finally bit the bullet and they are so worth it. Fit is great and the lenses are superb. If you are like me then proceed to checkout. You won’t regret it.

Very impressed so far

- Neil, 3 November, 2019

I initially purchased a pair of Oakley Radar cycling glasses, which I sent back due to peculiar airflow around the outer aspect of the glasses resulting in eye irritation. The Oakley Jawbreakers have a larger lens and feel like they provide better protection from the wind. The lens seems of very high quality and the arm length adjustability is a nice feature. I often wear aftershokz bone conduction headphones and the arm adjustability ensures a comfortable fit. I am unable to fully comment on the photochromic aspect of the lens due to minimal requirement for a darker lens during autumn in the UK.

Pros & Cons

Arm length adjustability
Comfortable
Excellent unobstructed vision
Impressive build quality

These Oakley Jawbreaker Photochromic sungalsses are absolutely Brilliant!!

- Dimitri, 31 March, 2019

I've always used very good sunglasses for driving in my car long distances in South Africa and the UK (Serengeti Drivers and Maui Jim) I cycle long distances 400-500km /week (Audax), and wanted proper cycling sunglasses. After much research on cycling forums, I pulled the trigger on the Oakley Jawbreaker Photochromic. I've been using these daily for a few weeks now and these are Brilliant! .... The best way that I can describe them, is that it always feels like you are riding in overcast conditions irrespective of the light situation (not too dark and not too bright) .... when cycling under canopies of dense trees etc, the lenses change almost instantly so you don't have to whip the sunglasses off your face to see where you are riding. The fit is very comfortable and I have also used these when the sun sets. I highly recomend these. The nice thing is that you can buy additional lenses such as the Oakley Jawbreaker Prizm road if you wish to use sunglasses for very bright days.

Pros & Cons

Can buy other lenses for different light condition
Dont fog up while riding
Excellent Contrast
Lightweight
Very Comfortable

Comfy and I can see when I'm trying for streamline

Awesome glasses for cycling. My old glasses had the top bar in direct eye-line when leaning forward for aerodynamics. These show nothing but what's ahead. A bit large for casual wear but great for activity.

Excellent cycling glasses

- Richard, 14 May, 2018

I’ve always had problems with glasses touching my eyelashes and also with reduced field of view. The Jawbreaker glasses completely solve both these problems. You forget they’re on your face, not needing any adjustment once fitted. They also react fantastical well to changing light. Only slight issue is glare can be a problem.

Pros & Cons

Comfort
Field of vision
Fit
Reaction to light
Don’t handle glare

Takes the headache out of lens choice...

- Robert, 2 September, 2016

These glasses are perfect for early morning & evening rides where the light is changing. Or even when the weather is changeable. The lenses aren't as good as regular lenses in bright sunlight, but perfectly adequate. The frames are comfortable, secure and they look good. The only slight problem is that they impede into your peripheral vision a little more than a pair of radarlocks for example. But this isn't a deal breaker, the field of vision is still very good.

Pros & Cons

Adaptive
Comfortable
Good looking glasses
Secure
Slight reduction in peripheral vision

Fantastic glasses

- Myles, 15 August, 2016

These glasses are great. They fit well and offer great protection as they cover a large amount of the face. The lenses are ideal for English weather as they are almost clear out of the sun and darken quickly. For sunnier climates, I would probabaly not go for photochromic but get polarized. Mantel were the best price on the web by far.

Pros & Cons

Air vents in lenses
Fast lens change
Good fit
Full retail is high

- Mark, 22 April, 2016

Nice glasses, bit on the heavy side & side of frame projects into peripheral vision. Only used at night & hazy conditions, so have to wait to see the full photochromic performance.
