A pleasant shoe that has a nice fit. The size fits well around the foot and feels very lightweight. In addition, the sole is reasonably firm, allowing you to apply enough pressure to achieve the right speeds.

I find the velcro closure works well. Can imagine the twist closure working even more evenly. But playing with where you press wkl then doesn't.

Not ideal, but on my first outing in my new shoes, I did 100 km and the next day 65 km. No foot pain. These shoes are comfortable, no doubt about it! The length of my feet: 24.5 cm. Perfect for a size 40. The heel fits well and the ball of the foot is not compressed (although I don't have an easy foot). The Velcro fasteners cover the shoe well too. I wore them with shimano SPD SL cleats. Look: they look better in reality than on the photo. Stiffness: as the description says, they're not very stiff and you can feel it. If you're into racing and looking for 'clogs', you're better off with another model. But for the average person, they're perfectly suitable. And for the record, I kept my previous Northwave shoes for 8 years and they must have covered +/- 30,000 km. Delivery: ordered on a Wednesday at 9.55pm. Received the next day around 2pm I can only put 5 stars
