The helmet fully meets my expectations. I also tried on more expensive variants, but they did not fit me as well. What I also liked is that Mantel's employee did not try to 'sell' expensive helmets and instead said that the cheaper models with MIPS are just as good and that it is usually in the finishing details.

Have worn out quite a few helmets, this one fits perfectly. Surrounds my head completely and don't feel I have it on (same comfort as my Giro Syntax Mips road bike helmet) I do always wear helmet cap or bandana so the liner gets less sweaty. Chin strap is too short, fortunately there was a generous wrap sewn in, cut this loose and this made the strap long enough.

clip is initially difficult to open goes easier after use. I ordered size M and used it a few times, but it turned out to be too big. I returned it within 30 days and made use of the money-back guarantee. now I have to wait until the size S is back in stock to order it.

This is a fine helmet, it is a pity that the sun visor is not adjustable. For cyclists with a deep seat, this will make it less suitable. The fit is fine and if all goes well, the MIPS system should provide extra protection.

Nice, comfortable-fitting helmet with MIPS at an attractive price point. Downside is the non-adjustable visor, which prevents you from seeing far ahead on the trails if you sit a bit deeper than the average (trail) rider.

Helmet fits nicely (is infinitely adjustable) and stays on well. Once on the bike, you no longer notice you have it on. The clip to release it is very stiff and therefore a bit difficult to release with cold fingers after cycling.

The helmet looks good, fits well and looks good. Although you can't know how good it is until you need it (and you'd better not), in a test this model came out well, on a par with other much more expensive models.

Never been a fan of wearing helmets never liked the look of them. But been in my 30s thought it would be wise to invest in one, soon as I saw the Lazer Chiru I knew that was the one as it look stylish. Fits perfectly and very comfortable, easy to adjust. Great service aswell from Mantel

Happy with this helmet. Sits comfortably while cycling. Had good advice from saleswoman. I can ride many more safe kilometres with this.

Fine helmet with MIPS at a nice price. The helmet fits wonderfully and already protected me well from low-hanging branches on the first ride. I experience no discomfort with heavy exertion and perspiration. Front flap is nice against the sun and possible branches.

This helmet is affordable but also very well made. It’s comfortable and easily adjustable. I am yet to bang my head majorly (thank god) but i have hit my head on branches and barely noticed!

I found this helmet comfortable as it fitted well - it stayed firmly on my head when mountain biking, and I didn't need to adjust it once I'd put in on. It is easy to adjust to fit and I chose it because it was a good value MIPs helmet, that and the colour!!
