What a nice, solid and efficient bleeding kit! I used to have a basic kit and the thread of the Shimano pot for the handlebars was already clearly wearing out. The kit has metal adaptors, super handy syringes that are easy to clean, valves to block the oil, a handy closure tool for connecting to the nipple. On top of this you have 2 very handy supports to rest your syringes on while bleeding. And everything comes in a nice case to make this kit long-lasting. In short, this tool has everything you need to bleed and re-oil your brake lines in a splash-free way! Compared to another new kit from Park Tool, this one costs half the price!

Pros & Cons

I already owned the standard Jagwire bleed kits (DOT & Mineral), which were fine for general use. I find myself carrying out far for bleeds now at work and therefore more robust and ergonomic sets were required. The syringes in these kits are very effective and comfortable to use and the quality is better than the blue brand (plus the price is more competitive, especially through Mantel). Fittings are included for all types of brake systems along with handy hangers to hold the equipment in situ. The only downside with the kit is that it does not come with a restraining tool / device to depress the lever when bleeding SRAM brakes. Not a big drama as I purchased some good quality one handed clamps (as used by cabinet makers) which do the job just right.

Quality material, and convenient to use. Easy to clean. Just be careful not to lose the rubber sealing ring (ring on connection piece), otherwise you will keep pulling air into your brake line.
