Is disappointing

- Rens, 13 December, 2023

Falls short, below 5 degrees the cold really comes through anyway. Quality is a bit disappointing. Falls a bit small, should have taken a size larger than normal

Pros & Cons

Not warm

Totally lives up to the glove's description!

- Ruben, 11 December, 2022

I ordered these gloves for the colder winter rides and I don't regret it for a second! Say goodbye to cold fingers and feel the comfort and luxury of this top glove. The support pad could have been better positioned in the glove or the shape is on the odd side, but I am minimally bothered by that myself. Mantel is doing a good job of employing online sizing advice and this goes well with these gloves as well.

Pros & Cons

Fits well due to longer sleeve
Sits very comfortably
Size length is good
Warm enough for temperatures down to 0 degrees
Support pad does not sit perfectly on the palm

Perfect gloves down to 0 degrees

- Joris, 18 March, 2022

Good value for money. They keep your hands warm when it's just not freezing. In freezing weather, I would look further afield or just ride indoors.....

Pros & Cons

Good fit
Thin, so no problem to shift/brake

Fine gloves with grip for mountain biking, city cycling or on the road bike.

- Paul, 25 January, 2022

Fine gloves above zero degrees

- Silvie, 21 January, 2022

The windproofness of these gloves is very good. In addition, they also hold up reasonably well in the rain, water does not penetrate immediately. One point to note, however, is that the gloves do not keep warm well in low temperatures. There is little margin, at 2 degrees they are on edge in terms of warmth. Below 0, I would not recommend them. This is not because of the windproofness, but because of the amount of insulation.

Pros & Cons

Fine gloves for recommended temperatures
Good grip
Too cold from 0 degrees and below

Comfortable, water-repellent glove for +5 C°

- Tom, 21 January, 2022

Pros & Cons

gel padding
good water repellency
soft
not warm enough below 5 C°

3 / 5

not really winter glove. Only suitable for wind chill temperatures between +2 and +8 degrees Celsius

- Jeroen, 6 February, 2021

These gloves are warm for wind chill between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius. If you have a headwind, the wind chill decreases quickly and in winter it quickly dips below 2 degrees. At that point, your fingers and even your hands get cold. If the gloves get wet (even in light rain) they are very difficult to take off and put on. The fit is excellent if you don't have too wide hands.

Pros & Cons

fit
good cuff (for warm wrists)
not really suitable for winter weather
when wet they cannot be put on and taken off

Warm, comfortable cycling gloves that allow you to control your smartphone.

- Steven, 11 January, 2021

I tested these gloves for the first time in this cold weather. I like them just fine. They keep the cold away well. Definitely suitable for temperatures around freezing. Thanks to the extra grip, you don't just slide off your handlebars. Only downside is that it takes some practice to operate your smartphone. I don't always succeed from the first time.

Pros & Cons

Comfortable
Extra grip
Warm
Operating the smartphone requires some practice

Fine glove

- Walter, 10 November, 2020

I use the glove for MTB and Road bike. Nice that the glove is a bit longer, no problems with cold wrists. Good fit, great grip, very satisfied. I bought L and this fits well. Usually I hesitate between M or L, but M would have been too small with this glove. Very cold it is not yet, but at 3 degrees they are fine for both race and MTB . I expect them to last me all winter on the MTB. For the road bike, I expect them to be a bit too cold at frost.
