Have coupled these base layers with a Mavic Thermo Jkt, a Gorewear Phantom Jkt and a Gorewear Paclite Waterproof Jkt. In all 3 instances i was ALOT less soaked in sweat and therefore NOT freezing cold when the strong wind blew. This was particularly noticeable a) when i was struggling on the home run, i used to really feel it before when wet underneath. b) when coupled with the Gorewear jkt. The big tell was that the insides of rear pockets were wet with sweat, PROVING that the condensation had passed through the Craft base layer (and then the jkt) never had this before, so clearly base layer doing its job.
