Super tyre and much cheaper than the new dugast tyres

For a while now, this has been my first choice tyre for under my cross bike. The tyre gives great grip on dry road surfaces. Even soft and moderately wet surfaces are no problem for this tyre. In terms of looks, these tyres are of course beautiful. Note. The sides of the tyres do not last very long. Putting them on the rim for the first time is also quite a challenge.

Unfortunately, I am absolutely disappointed with this product. The instructions are very difficult to understand, only by watching a video was it clear to me how to install the folding jacket. The installation is very difficult and time-consuming. Unfortunately, I could not install the jacket successfully because the hose broke every time. I have therefore exchanged the second jacket.

Been using this tyre in combination with the latex inner tube for years for cross races and gravel rides really a top tyre in all conditions! Only putting the tyre on is a horror!

is a very good tyre for on different surfaces. Not so easy to fit, though, due to the tyre's stiffness.

Good tyre with sufficient grip and rolling resistance is not too bad either. Dug 100k+ ride with it including the MTB route Zeddam. Went perfectly. Also had no problems fitting the tyre.

I bought these tyres because this was Mantel's choice on cyclocross. and has been a good choice, the same I have with my MTB tyres also combination advice from Mantel.

After some deliberation, my choice fell on these tyres. Despite some 'horror stories' in the reviews regarding mounting the tyres, in the end this was not that bad. I haven't tested the tyres extensively yet, but the first impressions in terms of rolling resistance and grip are very good. In addition, the tyres look very nice, which is also not unimportant.

They are qualitative tyres but they are very difficult to get on the rim and 1 of the 2 even doesn't but I can't send these back because they have become dirty through the part of the rim where you brake

Nice and very high-quality outer tyre for the cross bike. Been riding with these for 12 years and never had a puncture. Ordered a new set because they did wear out after many kilometres. Never hesitated to use the same ones again.

Purchased these tyres for on my Canyon Endurace AL 7.0 so that I can ride with more grip on the bike path in autumn and winter, but also ride some gravel. This goes extremely well. The tyres mount fine on my DT Swiss wheels. Ride very pleasant, too.

Fine tyre, low rolling resistance, good cornering grip, very flexible. Disadvantage ; first time on the rim. Sprayed with some Teflon spray and then it went.

A good tyre, not cheap. Is sensitive on the sidewall to sharper stones, though.

I used these tyres all of last year for cyclocross and they are fantastic. It is a great all rounder and coped with pretty much everything all season.

Hi quality tyre , very flexible ideal for cyclocross or gravel trails Patience is require to fit these tyres due to the construction design but when fitted give a compliant ride ,recommend latex tubes with this product

This tyre is almost perfect for multi surface cyclo cross racing. Good in most conditions and most surfaces bar deep mud. My only gripe, and why I can't give 10/10 is the fact it will not stay on my Stans Alpha rims due to the year drop shaped bead! Fine on every other rim I have tried but the slightest pressure from a dropped curb, cycle cross hurdle or flying remount pops it straight off the rim. My Scwalbe 1 tyres and Clement pdx don't have this issue.

I tend to really research the hell out of every product I buy. I went through all sorts of forums, took advice and it always pointed to these tyres. Yes they are a few quid more than your next best tyre but to get what you pay for. Silky ride and great grip. I used them with latex tubes and can not fault the ride. Mantel best the opposition by about £5 per tyre. Well packaged and well received. I’ll be getting some Limus’ for the really muddy stuff in November.

The Challenge Grifo open tubular is my choice of tyre for all occasions until the real thick mud arrives and can be run at low pressure when fitted with the challenge latex cx tubes with less chance of pinch punctures they also look cool on the bike

Fantastic tyres! Awesome grip in wet-ish mud and roll really fast on tarmac. These tyres are perftect for cyclocross. I only gave these tyres a 9 As they were very difficult to install.

I've only started racing Cross this season and had seen a lot of racers using Challenge tyres. I can't afford to move up to tubulars yet, but for a clincher tyre these really do a great job especially when used with Challenge Latex inner tubes. A good trick to fitting; I was advised to fit a regular tube in them for a few days to let the tyres gain a good shape before swapping out for the latex tubes. Had really good grip in some wet, muddy and tricky situations. Can't wait to race on them again!
