Campagnolo Zonda

This is my 4th wheelset (first Giant original, then Mavic Cosmic UST 2, then DtSwiss PR1600, then Campa), and I'm thrilled! The bike feels like new. Subjective feeling: much better than PR1600, even if PR1600 were more expensive.

These wheels are perfect for winter and rough conditions. They're reliable, durable and efficient, as well as looking good.

Thanks to the Mantel team, wheelset delivered in 4 days, the best. Wheels very well packaged in original Campagnolo bubble bags and cardboard. 2 rides since purchase (150 kms), still perfect with Campagnolo. Light wheels (1560 grams, wheels weighed with digital scale) excellent braking, rigid, smooth bearings as always with Campagnolo and sober, I love it. Unbeatable value for money for these high quality wheels at a very attractive price. Very satisfied +++++

Wheels are not obviously not as aero as carbon rims, but they are light and, with the price considered, they live up to expectations.

I wanted all-round wheels that I could use for training and in winter, but these are much more than training wheels, I prefer them to my roval clx 40mm wheels.

The Campagnolo Zonda wheels are very responsive and the braking surface of the rims is optimal. In addition, the bearings make the wheels run very lightly.

I mostly use my wheels for climbing. Country Roads in Ireland are very tough so you need strong light wheels otherwise you will suffer. I am a climber and love the hills. Previously I used Mavic Askium wheels, they were ok but there is no comparison. The Campagnolo Zonda is a much lighter, responsive and stiffer wheelset. Hands down the Zonda wins.

Great for cycling. But too bad the free wheels are so quiet. Does not feel so Campa when it is silent as if they were Japanese. I love clearly ticked when freewheeling so you are always reminded to pedal or the person in front becomes ditto.

These wheels were purchased to replace Mavic Krysium teams that had outlived their usefulness (15 years). No real weight savings, but a real surprise when freewheeling: very quiet and fluid, with very hard braking. These wheels are perfect for my use (weekly outings around Grenoble in mid-mountain passes) and have motivated me to increase the frequency of my outings. I'd also like to congratulate Mantel, whose price is unbeatable for these wheels, and whose delivery was quick and problem-free (Campagnolo packaging for the wheels, very well made).

I bought these Campagnolo Zonda to replace my Mavic Aksium. I'm not disappointed! These Zonda wheels have ultra-smooth bearings, the braking is sharper and their stiffness doesn't absorb energy while remaining comfortable. What's more, the wheels were ordered on a Tuesday and I received them on Thursday. The packaging was intact. I can only recommend these wheels and Mantel.

Bought because my scope R3 had run out, according to the bike shop. Bummer because I was going on holiday to the Dolomites a week later. Bought these wheels and fortunately they were delivered on time. I climbed well for 7000 metres and descended safely.

Good set of aluminium wheels, light, not too expensive. Satisfied with my purchase so far. Bought them as training wheels for winter (to replace my carbon wheels). Winter in the Paris region is quite wet, so aluminium brakes better than carbon (brake pads...). Quiet freewheel and a slightly different look with the spoking on the rear wheel. I removed the stickers (very easily) which look a bit cheap.

Very high quality wheels. You can feel the delicacy with which they are made. When it comes to rolling they are a real marvel, very thin and very light for the climbs.

After they arrived, I contacted Campagnolo to find out what year the rims were assembled, and Campagnolo confirmed that they are from 2021. I know that from 2017 to 2021 these rims did not receive any upgrades and the only differences are in colour. But I'd still rather buy a wheel assembled now than 5 years ago

I have made 3 outings, they are quite light, rigid to the right point, very good braking, they hold up very well to the strong side wind, the only flaw is that the front wheel is not well assembled, it dances a little, they could have checked it before sending it to me, I have only put 3 stars for this reason, I am very sorry, I would have put 5 stars if the wheel was well centred, the shipping was excellent.

Rides Smoothly! Its stealth wheels; hub barely rattles (more using the bell). Important: vitoria folding tyres I can put on by hand (forget that with mavic tubeless ready rims). Fit well with my 15-year-old Colgano.

Light, nice design, had this wheelset just fitted, flat speed big increase, far easier to climb.

Great great wheels. Really stiff and fun wheel that have given my road bike another dimension. The hub is really silent, but it just seems like a question of kilometers before the sound gets louder. Super fast delivery!

After 300km with these wheels, I find them comfortable on cobbles, fairly safe in corners, and a welcome change from my old Bontranger race wheels. The Campagnolo bearings are smoother. So far I'm happy with my purchase.

Mantel were very competitive on price and although I had some reservations about delivery times the wheels were delivered promptly within the 3 day expected window. Customer service was spot on also after finding out I had not updated my full address online a quick phone call to Mantel and everything was updated without fuss. Would order from Mantel again.

I didn’t want a wheelset for training and a wheelset for racing. The Zonda’s are my do everything bombproof set which are reasonably light for the money. Paired with continental GP tyres they are smooth and roll great!!!! Happy days
