The Park Tool BBT-9 is used to remove and install bottom brackets with external bearings. The BBT-9 fits on cups and lockrings 16 with external grooves and an outer diameter of approximately 44 mm.
The BBT-9 works with the following bottom brackets:
• Shimano Hollowtech II
- Shimano Deore BB52
- Shimano XT SM-BB70
- Shimano RS500
• Campagnolo Ultra-Torque and Power-Torque
• Race Face
• FSA
• Sram
• Truvativ
• Chris King
• Phil Wood
The BBT-9 also fits brake lockrings that have 16 external notches.

Works fine, no damage to the old crank bearings and the new ones back on! Edges are a bit sharp from punching out the plate, but the handle fixes that.
