Description

The Maxxis Ardent Race 3C Tubeless Ready tyres are ideal for technical cross country courses and marathon applications. The medium lug height places the Ardent Race in a gap between cross country-orientated tyres and trail tyres. The central knobs have been kept lower to reduce rolling resistance while the lugs on the sides are placed at an angle to improve cornering traction. Why not pick the Ardent Race for your next challenging cross country or epic trail race.

Pros

  • Grip en soepelheid
  • Tubeless in een wip, wel met latex
  • Lage bandenspanning
  • Aanleggen in de bochten
  • Rolweerstand in het losse zand

Cons

  • Prijs ??
  • Rolweerstand op asfalt

Detailed product description

3C Triple Compound Mountain
Maxxis 3C Triple compound mountain-technology uses a harder, more durable base layer and two softer top layers to optimise traction and stability. Maxxis offers 3 different types in the 3C Triple Compound mountain-technology: Maxx Speed, Maxx Terra, and Maxx Grip.

Maxx Speed
Is predominantly used in cross-country or enduro tyres. This compound uses two slightly harder compounds in the outer layer in order to reduce rolling resistance and optimise grip and traction.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres provide you with a number of advantages: you can run them at a lower tyre pressure, which improves grip and traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a clincher tyre, and a lower chance of punctures because of snake bites. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres have the advantages of a UST tubeless tyres but without a penalty to weight.
