Look Keo 2 Max Carbon 2016 Pedals

The Look Keo 2 Max Carbon pedals are based on the Keo 2 Max, but have an injected carbon body for extra strength and weight reduction. The Keo 2 Max uses a steal inlay on top of the pedal body that makes sure the pedals don't wear quickly. The creaking, that was an undesirable feature of the older ones, has been limited to a minimum.

Apart from the steal inlay the polyamid composite body has been designed in sucha a way to create a surface as large as possible. This allows the shoe to distribute the pressure evenly. The cleats have a wide as possible contact point between the shoes and the pedals and the most efficient power transmission. The diameter of the steel axle is enlarged to 12mm to create more stiffness. The Q-factor is 53mm.

The tension to click in and out are adjustable with a small allen key on the back of the pedal. The tension can be set between 9 en 15Nm. The pedals come with a standard set of grey cleats with 4,5 degrees play. The black cleats (no play), or the red cleats (9 degrees play) are optional.

The Look Keo 2 Max are a popular choice in the professional peloton, thanks to its low weight of 126g it is one of the lightest pedals in its category.
