The R4+ features with 4 of the newest Cree LEDS that produce together 1500 lumen. The brightness settings are divided over 2 rows with both 3 illumination levels. This is so you have enough light for every situation, and you can set the maximum burning time to your own preferences. In addition the switch is illuminated so you will never miss it. The battery has a handy built in indicator, so you can see how much battery you have left
