The Giro Chronicle MIPS protects you during everything from technical descents to extremely long climbs. Compared to other MTB helmets, this helmet has a low back. This way the back of your head is better protected during crashes. It has many of the qualities the more expensive Montaro also had, except the price. The P.O.V. Plus™ visor, the Roc Loc ® 5 adjustment system and the Extra plush Coolmax padding are a nice example. It is also provided with the safe MIPS system.
The Giro Chronicle has the MIPS system so the helmet can slightly move (shift and rotate) relative to the head, so the lateral and rotational forces are cushioned. The Roc Loc 5 system allows you to change the fit with one hand. Just turn the dial to loosen or tighten it whenever you wish.
