The all-new Union Flat shoes take your mountain biking adventures to a new and challenging level. The flat-pedal version of the Union sits has a good grip on your pedals, but if you accidentally misjudge a turn it will also let you release just as easily to alter your course.
Optimal fit and power transfer
With rugged features like a moulded toe cap that protects against stone chips, the Union easily defies the rigours of the trail. With its light weight and perfect fit, the discreet, custom-tailored EVA mid sole improves your pedal grip and feel, allowing you to experience better riding comfort. The moulded internal stiffening plate ensures optimal power on the pedal, but that rigidity does not compromise comfort. So don't worry if you have to run a stretch around a fallen tree.

The sole is made of Ultratac™ rubber where the specially developed tread pattern ensures optimal grip and durability. Union shoes with their versatile and controlled style are made for high speeds on challenging courses, but they are also just as comfortable while you enjoy a refreshing drink afterwards.

In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.

These shoes are perfect for almost any discipline of mountain biking.

These shoes are perfect for the mountain biker who likes to do tricks while also taking part in some downhill and enduro races. The shoe has good grip on the technical parts due to the soft rubber on the sole. But you can still just do one footers, nac-nacs and any other trick where you take your feet off the pedals. Also, after a long day of cycling in muddy conditions, the shoes are very easy to clean. The only real downside are the somewhat short laces but that's no reason not to buy the shoe, also the shoes are not very nice to walk in but that doesn't really matter as these shoes are made for cycling. In short, if you are serious about mountain biking and are looking for a good flat pedal shoe, buy the fox union flat shoes!
