Description
The Continental Mountain King II Performance is the workhorse of the Mountain King series. The combination of PureGrip Compound and the Performance offers grip, protection, and a relatively low rolling resistance. In quick corners the outer knobs offer support. These tyres are reliable even in the worst of circumstances. Crosscountry racers can of course also profit of these qualities. Wet XC-rides are excellent for the Mountain King II as it offers grip in extreme conditions.
PureGrip Compound
This new rubber compound closes the gap between the basic sport edition and the Black Chili compound. PureGrip is based on activated silica compounds that have excellent grip, durability, and low rolling resistance.
Performance
This type of tyre is recognisable with the honeycomb structure on the side walls of the tyre. The basis of the tyre is made of 3 layers with a TPI of 180. This offers a lot of puncture protection. The Pure Grip Compound that is used is made of silica compound. This has excellent grip, durability, and low rolling resistance. So a lot of quality for your money.
