Description
The Bell Super 3R MIPS is a versatile cycling helmet and offers everything you need on challenging trails. This full face helmet is designed to adapt to the ever-changing needs of trail riding.
Removable chin guard
The Bell Super 3R MIPS has a removable chin guard, essentially giving you two helmets in one. During long climbs, you can remove the chin guard and tuck it away in your backpack. On extra challenging terrain, you can put it back on, for extra safety and confidence. The easy, tool-less installation and removal process takes just seconds.
In-mold construction and MIPS fall protection
This MTB helmet has an In-mold construction. This process bonds the polycarbonate helmet shell to the EPS foam liner, making the helmet more rigid. Thanks to MIPS fall protection, lateral and rotational forces that can occur during a fall are absorbed more effectively. In this way the chance of a concussion is a lot smaller.
Overbrow Ventilation provides cooling
This full-face helmet is equipped with the so-called 'Overbrow Ventilation'. This system involves the vents on the forehead, which allow cool air to enter. This air is then pushed through the air ducts to provide full ventilation. Several ventilation openings are distributed throughout the helmet: 23 helmet openings, 6 chin openings and 4 forehead openings.
Float Fit system for proper helmet adjustment
The Float Fit system is used with the Bell Super 3R MIPS. This system is lighter, more comfortable and has a rubber dial. A simple turn of the knob is enough to make small changes and to determine the fit completely to your liking.
Other features
To provide this MTB helmet with the finishing touches, various features have been added. It has an adjustable visor, a Breakaway camera mount and an X-Static® helmet padding. These additions really complete the Bell Super 3R MIPS.

Super nice helmet, convenient that you can change

If you have an in-between size, take Thursday's largest size. Once the chin guard is on and you want to put the helmet on, the helmet goes on your head somewhat awkwardly because the adjustment system pokes the back of your head. Once the helmet is on, it's great.
