Description

The Basil Mara is a sturdy and water-repellent bag. It is equipped with double buckles and reflection stripes for extra safety. Mounting to the pannier rack is very easy thanks to the matching straps. The bags have a pre-cut and stitched quick-release pocket. Very good value for money.

Good value, no nonsense, usefull panniers.

My second purchase of the Basil Mara. It's unpretentiously practical for everyday use and well made. If you have small feet, it'll be pretty much perfect. If you have big feet, you might find your heels catch the corner of the panniers. The velcro ties for luggage rack supports are a bit fiddly. Best on bikes with mudguards - prevents flapping against rear tyre. The tie-on straps could be a couple of centimetres longer. Any replacement likely to be another Mara. I should give it a 10, really.
